Overview
Ji̊jdíhd Se was founded durring the early 13th century in summer of the year 1233, by Ceri Tsîyëm Wyn. The establishment of Ji̊jdíhd Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ji̊jdíhd Se's construction back out of the project. Ceri Tsîyëm Wyn pushed on reguardles, and Ji̊jdíhd Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Ji̊jdíhd Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ji̊jdíhd Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Ji̊jdíhd Se is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
A look around Ji̊jdíhd Se has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Ji̊jdíhd Se long.

Cultural Notes
The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.
Ji̊jdíhd Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
In Ji̊jdíhd Se during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.
Ji̊jdíhd Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves drinking to channel Conjuration energies of tier 1 via oratory performances.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Ji̊jdíhd Se was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ji̊jdíhd Se lost 285 people, 272 livestock, and 84 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 30, when members of Ji̊jdíhd Se's militia enacted an operation to patrol a specific area to dissuade the enemy from their current activities. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in defeat for Ji̊jdíhd Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ji̊jdíhd Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
